The school puts emphasis on integrated learning wherein interesting activities, based on projects and field trips are undertaken. Via morning assemblies, the children are apprised of various National and International trends. Through interactive quizzes, headlines and reports etc. children are acquainted with current affairs, social issues and global concerns. In accordance with the true democratic spirit, children are encouraged to ’voice’ their opinions freely. The school follows a system of continuous assessment .Weekly unit tests are held for classes VI – XII. Two major examinations are conducted during the academic session with equal weightage. For Tiny Tots, from Nursery – Std V, formal exams have been discontinued. Project based learning has been implemented to make learning more interactive and meaningful.
There are no formal examination for students of Nursery to Class – V. They will be evaluated on the basis of continuous assessment.
1. There will be a Formative Assessment as Per Schedule.
2. Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) as per guidelines of CBSE will be followed for assessment.
TThe Academic year is divided into Two Terms.
First Term Examination is held in the month of September / October
Second Term Examination is held in the month of March.
Both the exam carry equal weightage. The Average of both the examination will be considered as the basis for promotion.
A minimum of 75% of attendance is necessary in the Academic Year to be eligible for appearing in the final exams & subsequent promotion to the next class.
For the Board Classes of XII, two pre-board exams are conducted.
1. The promotion is granted to the student on the basis of the performance in the Unit Test & Terminal Examinations.
2. If a child fails in a class for two consecutive years, it is obligatory for the parents to withdraw the child from the school.
